Pilsen! New Center

The proposal is for a residential building and an elementary art school. The buildings are located in Pilsen not far from the Republic Square. The urban concept of the whole newly designed district is to transform an unused site adjacent to Americká Street into a new urban centre. A square with a fountain and trees suitable for the urban environment - plane trees - will be created in the space between the blocks. The square will become a centre of meeting and urban life. The streets are planned to lead visitors to Pilsen from the main railway station through the new district to the Square of the Republic with the Gothic St. Bartholomew's Cathedral. This will create an attractive environment for a diverse urban life.
