SOUKENICKÁ APARTMENT BUILDING

Annotation

There is a newly empty plot on the Soukenická street, where a multifunctional building with dominating residential function has been designed. The project aims on the subject of gothic urbanism take on the Petrská quarter by Karel IV. Basically, the the building consists of two traverse terraced wings tied by balcony-access tract. As for the including functions, there are two lower floors constisting of commercial spaces such as a café and offices, followed by six floors of residential space. There are two floors underground for the parking space for residents, too. The concept of each flat is "double floor" flat (mezonet).
