The second grade of the elementary school in Chříč

Chříč, formerly Křic, is a village in the north-eastern part of the Plzeň-north district. One of the most important buildings of the entire village is the Chříč brewery, which is very famous for its beer, especially in Bohemia. My task was to design the new second grade of the elementary school, as well as a swimming pool and a gymnasium for 200 people. The proposal is conceived in three separate blocks, connected by bridges. The facade of all three buildings is covered with exposed concrete and elements on a fasade are separated in color by their function, the swimming pool has blue elements on the facade, the school has red and the sports hall has yellow. The building reacts perfectly to the surrounding environment and provides pupils with a pleasant place to learn.
