Footbridge Sponka

The footbridge "Sponka" with replaceable wooden panels provides the possibility of quick repairs in adverse conditions of a place with high humidity and demanding weather. The location on the Krakonoš road between Horní Mísečky and Lysá Hora in an avalanche area called for a durable construction solution. On the other hand, the load-bearing frame made of steel profiles ensures the long-term durability that is needed here. The main load-bearing UPE profiles are to be sunk into the prepared stone beds, in which the current wooden footbridge made out of wooden profiles lies today. Except for the 3 supports for the seating structure, no custom fabrication is required on the footbridge, all other parts are simply available metal and wooden profiles.
