Entrance object

Annotation

In the center of the village of Přerov nad Labem, in close proximity to the renaissance castle, stands an open-air museum - the Polabské ethnographic museum. In its inventory, it has many historical objects of folk architecture, from an old Bohemian cottage to various barns and chapels, but one building is still missing - the entrance building. With a simple shape and layout solution, I follow up on the existing cottages in the open-air museum, so that the new object does not disturb the existing arrangement. The design also respects the traditional wooden shingle roofing of the historic cottages in the area and works with it in such a way as not to offend, but at the same time to make it clear that this is a new building and not a replica of a historic cottage.
