Student housing and its new forms

In the summer semester of the Lábus Šrámek studio, we processed the topic of student housing and its new forms. The land is located in Prague 6, near the Strahov dormitory, which has stood here since the 1970s. The main theme was to create a pleasant modern environment dormitories with a higher standard, which can also be used for young couples, possibly for doctoral students or guests professors. The aim was to emphasize togetherness and social activities, to make the students' stay in the dormitories more pleasant, but also to provide them with enough privacy and peace for studying. Its main part is four towers, which are relieved in the middle cells from the light peripheral mantle. From the south side, this property offers an absolutely unprecedented view of Prague.
