New Face of Prague

I focus on four different locations in Radotín. In each location, I first identified its values, which I respect and support with my design proposals. I place an emphasis on the quality of public spaces, such as squares and recreational areas, but also simply the street profiles. I mitigate the urban heat island effect by integrating specific types of vegetation in the city, such as rain gardens and greenery in the streets. The design also addresses the issue of car parking, which is currently problematic in Radotín. When choosing the pavement, I pay attention to enabling gradual absorption of rainwater, which will also cool down the area through subsequent evaporation.
