OSTRAVA: Svinov Industrial

The territory is mostly flat. It is located near the busiest train station in Ostrava, named Ostrava - Svinov. It's a highly lucrative position within the entire city of Ostrava. Currently, there are industrial production halls of pipe drawing mills from the late 19th century on the land. This production ceased, and today these buildings, along with new assembled halls, are used for the production and storage of reinforcement mesh. The main four-aisled hall of the historic pipe drawing mills, made of honest red bricks, is preserved, and the interior is reconstructed into versatile spaces for administration and services. The remaining houses made of high-quality bricks will be dismantled, and the bricks will be reused for the cladding of the newly constructed parking structure.
