COMMUNITY CENTER TYRŠŮV DVŮR

The result of my work is the design of a community centre with a library, café and other exhibition and meeting spaces. The centre is primarily intended to serve the people from Prague 1, but also aims to attract new permanent residents to this district, who can get to know each other there. It is located at Tyrš House on the site of the former C.K. Malostranská Armoury, which stood here until 1923. Now there is only surface parking, although the site on the banks of the Čertovka River near Kampa Park has greater potential.
