Urbanism of Klokoty, Tábor

The project looks into revitalization of Klokoty, a part of a south-bohemian town Tábor. This territory with a long history is located on a hill, rising next to the top of the historical center, under which the river Lužnice meanders and turns its direction back to the south. The built-up area is fragmented in some places and the goal is to connect the structure of the territory, remove barriers and, with the help of the hierarchization of the street network and completion of the dveelopment, bring readability to the place. In addition, it focuses on the connection with the surrounding landscape and on strengthening the historical character of the place by working with the immediate and wider surroundings of the pilgrimage monastery of Klokoty.
