BEHIND THE WALL - YARD

Physically, the building of the school, with its gables, sloping roofs and courtyard, follows on from the surrounding buildings of a village character. The main element of the design is the school yard, hidden behind a passage wall, forming a semi-space and a place for outdoor teaching, play and recreation of students. Through the seasons, the yard is variable thanks to movable elements and paved areas. The courtyard reflects the courtyard building on the opposite site and is also transferred to the entire urban design of the area - "BEHIND THE WALL". The school grounds consist of a school building, a gymnasium and a swimming pool. The main element of the school building are habitable corridors and staircases for students recreation, which open into the library and the lecture room.
