Museum of winter sports in Harrachov

Speed, gradation, and fluent movements are the main features of winter sports. The two-story museum dedicated to these activities is located on a sloping plot overlooking the ski jumps in Harrachov. The organic shape of the design is in contrast with the traditional buildings in the area and it brings a new dynamic touch to the locality. The dominant feature of the design is a concrete wall winding along the entire length of the museum without any interruptions. This wall guides the visitor through the exhibition spaces and ends in the western part of the building with beautiful views of Čertova hora.
