Slezska Ostrava

Slezska Ostrava is mainly composed of villas and apartments. Important places include Bazaly, the Ema heap, the University of Ostrava, the former mining mine Petr Bezruč, zoological garden or central cemetery. The territory has large green areas with exceptional biocenters, especially at the Ema heap, which burns constantly and helps create an unusual ecosystem. An important axis is newly created between Hladnov and Bazaly, which will support the designed functions in both parts. Buildings that currently had insufficient use were demolished in the area. Newly designed objects have diverse functional uses. It is mainly housing, but among other things, we can also find here a newly established university campus with a technology center and an amphitheater, spaces for recreation and sport.
