How to design a house on a challenging plot in the centre of the city, surrounded by traffic flows, with the purpose of taking care of abandoned and stray animals? In my work, I address the questions of what such a shelter should look like, how it should operate, and how it should be perceived by the public. I'm also looking for the standard of the unit to house the dog, what its requirements are and what the functional requirements of the shelter itself are. Is it possible to shorten a dog's stay at the shelter through good design?
