Family house, Thimphu

The designed building is located on the eastern outskirts of the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu. It is a one-story family house with a gable roof” Lung-go” and a traditional 15-degree roof pitch. The entrance is oriented to the southeast. From the spacious hall you can enter the home prayer room, the laundry room, the main living area with an open-plan kitchen and a corridor separating the day and night zones. The master bedroom is extended with a roomy dressing room. The house also includes a guest room with its own bathroom.
