Chříč Elementary School

The axis of the building in the form of a long main corridor is a main feature of the design, to which the individual wings are connected, containing facilities for various uses of the building. Two wings are devoted to classrooms and specialised teaching rooms, another part contains a small swimming pool and adjacent changing rooms, the largest section houses a multi-purpose hall. The central corridor acts as a communication channel between the different wings and also connects the south-eastern corner of the development area, where the main entrance to the school is located. The two sections containing the classrooms are juxtaposed to create a courtyard between them where students can spend breaks and outdoor classes can also take place.
