Oasis

From the very beginning of its existence, the park at Smíchov railway station was already a part of the remaining areas between the railway track and the street, and at the same time its attractiveness is surpassed by the nearby river bank. The aim of the redevelopment was therefore to create a decent place in front of the station, where people would like to walk or even spend some time. This should be achieved by clearly defining the boundaries, by squeezing the park between the two houses that open into the park, and by using ordinary but durable materials.
