OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL IN ROUDNICE NAD LABEM
Annotation
The project is processing the island in Roudnice nad Labem. The main motive of the design is elongation, respecting the length of the island and the flowing river. Thanks to this, the building is not foreign to the environment. The house follows principles such as symmetry, rhythm and relation to nature. An axis that forms the main means of communication crosses the island in the transverse direction. The object consists of three functional units. Restaurant, changing rooms for the swimming pool and rowing club, which continues the historical rowing tradition on the island of Roudnice. A hydraulic bridge leads to the island. The mass of the bridge honors the horizontality stemming from the character of the house and the river.
