ORIEL

The project is an apartment building in the gap site of the historical core of Náchod. The concept forms around a public garden in the walk-through courtyard of the house, which uses a path of the neighbouring property connected to the arcade passage. Two masses are placed on the plot. The mass of the house itself fills the gap site in height and follows the imaginary line of the neighbouring houses in depth. The second mass at the end of the plot is a ground-floor "house" for covered seating in the garden, access to the garage and bicycle storage. The house has a total of 4 floors and a parking space on the underground floor. There is a café and a generic store on the ground floor, both of which have access to the garden. There are three apartments on the other floors of the building.
