Na Vršku Housing Estate

The designed project is located in the area of the Na Vršku housing estate in Jablonec nad Nisou, which is now considered excluded. This area is known for its specific social structure and high crime rate. The existing ground-floor buildings are in a dilapidated and abandoned state and the maintenance of the surrounding vegetation has long been lacking. My work is based on a previous urban project called Jablonec along the Nisa, which I worked on together with my dear colleague Bc. Radek Vladař. My work builds on this urban concept, but focuses on more detailed aspects, especially the ground floor, the operation and function of individual buildings. The implementation project emphasizes material and functional aspects, with the aim of improving the quality of life of local residents.
