elementary art school on the lookout

The subject of the project is the design of a new building for the Elementary Art School in Mělník. The location is situated above an outlook, providing an extensive view of the landscape, including the confluence of the Vltava and Labe rivers. The site is bordered by the street K Mostu. Currently, the plot has no specific use, only serving for occasional walks of dog owners. The proposed structure on the site consists of a long corridor that stretches across the entire length of the parcel, from which five separate units emerge. Each unit serves a specific purpose: dance hall, music classrooms, art workshops, a concert hall, and a café for the public. The entire building is wheelchair-accessible and suitable for all age groups.
