Hawk huts

The file consists of four functions. The research center serves KRNAP as a professional workplace and a base for field workers. It is complemented by an educational center open to the public for the season. Three sheds, also managed by Krnap, are used for study and educational purposes by school students and members of associations. The tiny shelter complements shelters scattered across the Krkonoše Mountains for an emergency sleepover or shelter from bad weather. The buildings are based on the floor plans of the first local army buildings from the 1930s. The extreme climatic conditions here predetermine the construction, the materials used and the standard of buildings.
