The Aldea Verde project is a self-sufficient and sustainable ReGen Village development based on the sharing and protection of natural resources. The organically conceived design, consisting of several functional parts, is located in the Polabian countryside near the village of Čelákovice. The residential part located by the pond contains 8 civic amenities buildings and 62 two-story houses of two modules with a flat roof and a circular floor plan. A network of freely designed streets runs through the entire structure, with an electric track running around. There is also a detention parking lot with a railway station, an agricultural and production part with greenhouses containing hydroscopic systems using waste water. The development is complemented by local hydro and wind power plants.
