WATER FLOW

Semněvice, situated in an agricultural but picturesque landscape, suffers from a lack of water. In the nearby green valley flows the Chuchla stream, flowing in artificial straight channels along the forest, hence the name - VODO(TEČ) - water channel, as the project deals with the creation of a new stream channel, thus giving space for water to flow naturally and create a stream floodplain in the landscape. The stream is brought back to the centre of the valley and the path to the edge of the woodland.The path is further linked to the circuit that follows water, drawing attention to its importance and adding to the protection of this environment. This design is part of a group project for the area of Semněvice, where we prepared analyses and subsequently created a landscape concept.
