Center of Mariánské Lázně

A block of densely built hotels once stood in the center of Mariánské Lázně. At the end of the 1970s, however, the entire block was demolished due to its poor condition. Today there is only an abandoned construction site. The goal of the project is to reuse and revitalize this parcel so that it can serve the city better than an unfinished construction site or parking area. The concept is based on three masses delimiting the historical floor plan of the original building. I am proposing two multi-functional houses and a separate building of the city library between them, which will make this plot in the city center more attractive and revitalized.
