MĚLNÍK. BRANCH OF THE MUNICIPAL LIBRARY

The proposed branch of the municipal library is located in the centre of the town of Mělník. The building’s mass complements the street line of houses on Legionářů Street. The structure has 1 underground and 3 above-ground floors. The core of the library consists of an atrium space, around which important rooms are arranged. In addition to sections for children and adults, the library also offers a multifunctional hall for 100 people, a lecture room, a quiet study room, and a cozy café with access to a terrace.
