What about our everyday life? People need day to day places to rest, walk, drink coffee, children need safe places to play, do sports etc... If we take a look on how settlements usually function in the Czech Republic, it can be concluded that non of the things above are taken care of, and the people are left on their own to take care of it. However, if the settlement is planned in a good way, it plays a role of a micro center serving both tenants and neighbors, kids and older generations. Sahara itself provides space for making these everyday things possible. The design proposal deals with several concepts that reuse existing urban, natural and cultural fabrics and reinterpreting them in a more structured way, so that Sahara can become a new micro center in town Libčice.
