The main element in the design of the area in front of Radotín railway station was the solution of the traffic situation and the cooperation between the various media such as bus, train, car, bicycle and pedestrian transport. I was looking for a solution that would bring them together into a functioning whole. It is a multifunctional paved area with a lot of greenery, I am addressing water retention from a channel in the surface, which geometrically divides the area and brings not only functional but also aesthetic benefits. The main element of the design is the solution of a bus stop and parking, separated from the mixed traffic on the main road. I propose a dedicated bus space with a canopy that acts as a central bus stop. The area is multifunctional for pedestrian and transport.
