Annotation

Miloš Forman, not born in Kolín, knew the town well. Sixty years ago, he filmed "Black Peter" here, gaining fame at home and abroad. The film remains relevant, addressing current social issues and serving as a vital testimony to the era and the town's essence. Kolín is significant as residents starred in the film, becoming part of local identity and history. I explored key film locations, envisioning how "Black Peter" could be reintegrated into Kolín. Though physically absent, its significance can be conveyed through artistic themes in various art forms, symbolically restoring meaning to featured locations.
