What is Libeň like?
Gloomy looking 20th century apartment buildings winding along the Rokytka River.
A concrete railway bridge towering over the nearby park.
An endless maze of cottages scattered all over the hill.
A quiet part of town that I can always aimlessly wander through.
The proposed design replies to these characteristics. Stoical houses that look almost impervious at first glance. However, by breaking them up into smaller masses, they create narrow gaps that suddenly allow me to not only visit the courtyards covered in greenery, but also to discover other various corners of Libeň. So, shall I arrange a rendezvous on the corner, near the stairs or by the fountain?
