Green light for Ostra

Ostra is a flooding area in the middle of Dresden. One of the biggest fair complexes in Germany is to be found there and the area is protected by law for its historical and natural value. Despite concerted efforts to enhance its appeal and accessibility, Ostra appears somewhat frozen in time, grappling with persistent challenges. The presence of numerous impermeable barriers underscores the need for transformative change, particularly in the establishment of connections. This, indeed, stands as a pivotal condition for propelling Ostra towards its envisioned status as a modern, seamlessly integrated facet of the city. Our primary focus revolved around crafting these connections and pioneering innovative methods of utilization.
