The urgency of our times is shown by alarming statistics: insufficient fresh water sources, the ruthless deforestation or pollution, among others. The planet’s biocapacity – the ability to renew natural resources – has been drained for years. How do we change the way we live? Examining an average Czech house, its elements, materials, and lifespan, analysing how we build and inhabit spaces. With the research of the newest materials, we designed forms of living throughout the years - making it more efficient, adaptable, self-repairable, biofriendly, biodegradable, and emission-free! BioHouse is a manifesto, a declaration of intent. Presenting challenges, bold solutions, propelled as the vanguard of a future where sustainability is not just a choice, but a necessary commitment for the planet.
