The Silo at Holešovice
Annotation
Located on the riverbank of the Vltava in Holešovice, Prague 7, the project reimagines the
purpose of four abandoned silos. It utilizes the old concrete structure as bouldering walls, with
a spacious, fully glazed cafeteria crowning the top. Accessible directly from Jankovcova Street
and the lower level of the riverbank, the Silo Na štěrkopísek, once a gravel crushing facility, serves as a nostalgic reminder of industrial Holešovice’s past.
