Silo Reconstruction

The current silo, situated unassumingly by the riverbank, lacks charm and fails to entice visitors. While it stands tall as a local landmark, its potential remains largely untouched. This reconstruction initiative seeks to transform the upper section of the silo, envisioning a space that is not only more inviting but also actively engages with the public. The redesigned structure will house a gallery and a cafeteria, providing a panoramic view that stretches across the Vtlava river. A cantilever structure is introduced at top, seamlessly integrated with the existing concrete tubes. Elevated with a gap it makes for a dynamic and aesthetic focal point by the riverside.
