The basic concept of the house involves recycling the reinforced concrete skeleton of the existing Billa market. The new design of the residential building preserves the commercial ground floor. Offices on the 1st and 2nd floor are replaced by apartments.
In the new design, the building is divided into two masses that create a passage between them, leading directly to náměstí Republiky. The subtraction of masses renews the street, leading to the school.
Residential units 2+kk (40m2) and 4+kk (90m2), are located along the northern and southern facades and there is an atrium in-between them. On the eastern and western facades, there are fully glazed communal areas.
Apartment arrangement adheres to strict modules of the load-bearing structure.
