The assignment was to design an Apple flagship store in Pařížská street, which connects the Old Town Square with the Vltava riverfront. The building is located on Miloš Forman Square.
When designing the store, I was inspired by the famous Czech crystal. By combining glass, water and the sun, I wanted to achieve the right effect. The building has a simple floor plan with full glass facade. The used glass is Water Filled Glass, which is environmentally friendly. A continuous water filter flows down the facade from the roof. There is a strip of water around the building. There are also built-in sprinklers in the ground in the square in front of the building.
