BETWEEN BRIDGES

The project is located in Prague on the border of Libeň and Troja. It fills the current unused space and offers new opportunities and stories. The design also follows the project of my colleague Viktor Mašek, who designed the new campus of Charles University. The design is on the borderline between a collection of buildings and urbanism, its size and complexity is reminiscent of a smaller city. In normal operation, it could be used by up to 10,000 people. For permanent housing then about 5-6 thousand inhabitants. The concept is to raise the public space two storeys above the ground, ensuring that car traffic does not disrupt the ongoing life on the streets. Plenty of parking is then intended on these two floors, both in the buildings and on the lowered streets.
