Connections and Promenades

Since they offer many opportunities for revitalization, for this project I chose to work on the cemetery, the Kameníček hill, the space in front of the police station, and their adjacent plots. The concept of the cemetery and hill is to have vegetation that engages the five senses and alternates through the seasons so that it turns into a place to enjoy all year long. Another goal is to add new functions to the cemetery: a new columbarium in the cemetery extension, and a public space that offers opportunities to play, socialize, sit and linger. Moreover, the space between the church of St Bartholomew and the train station also has potential for opportunities to sit, wait, enjoy the weather and the nature, or go through and continue the road towards the cemetery and the hill.
