Starring sídliště Sahara

My studio work focuses on a housing estate „Sahara“ located in Libčice nad Vltavou. It introduces a concept of modern recreation of a public space. It recreates already existing elements of the space as well as adding new ones. Doing so, in order to enhance the environment also from its communal and social view. The purpose of this work is to enrich the settlement so that its habitants could enjoy more the outside environment of their homes. The project is aming to work with spacious environment of the settlement. It is adding new public space equipment. Main challenges to be dealt with were revitalization of public space, poor parking organization, insufficient path system and inadequately used up large amounts of space within the settlement.
