Steps for wardrobes

The wardrobe steps are designed to be included in the PAX wardrobe system from IKEA. The entire structure fits in the space between two shelves. The width is determined by the dimensions of the specific cabinet part. By shaping the groove in the side travel, the steps are guided, but also secured against unwanted movement when unfolded. The system runs on bearings hidden in the structure. Thanks to the steps, we can reach a height of approx. 70 cm from the floor, so it is possible to reach even the highest shelves. The model is made of plywood, provided with a distinctive coating. For practical use, however, it would be ideal to have outlets in the same color as the cabinet, so that the composition looks uniform.
