Housing Buková

I design an apartment building on the corner of the block with a shop across the ground floor. The house responds to the sloping terrain that is typical for the area. On the first floor there is a shop that serves the whole new neighbourhood. The residential building is divided into 2 basic parts - a corner house, which has a higher standard of living, and a second house, which has a lower standard of living. The corner house has a façade of light grey bricks and the second house has a façade of light grey plaster, this darkens to a darker shade at the stepped floor. Typical for the whole house are the windows, which have yellow painted aluminium frames. The combination of materials and colours creates a subtle but slightly playful composition.
