Annotation
This work proposes a comprehensive approach to social and communal housing, emphasizing its long-term architectural dimension and the urgent need for housing. It explores the influence of historical movements on housing structures, starting with a brief historical analysis focused on Prague. The study examines current architectural trends, highlighting the importance of minimizing environmental impact and small footprints to address housing shortages and affordability issues in Prague. The chosen location, in the heart of Prague near the National Museum and main railway station, serves as an example of architecturally innovative and socially responsible housing solutions. The intention is to demonstrate how thoughtful design can address the critical problem of housing.
