Tosky

The name comes from the company, a traditional manufacturer of machine tools, TOS Čelákovice. It is a series of five houses that try to enable the owners to have maximum energetic independence, self-sufficiency in the form of their own cultivation of crops/herbs, in short, in general, to facilitate the path to a sustainable life. Each of the five houses has two floors, a small greenhouse for growing the aforementioned herbs and a large south-facing greenhouse for larger crops. In the design, I used slatted roofs, which together form a single mass in the spirit of the factory, and on them are placed photovoltaic panels for energy self-sufficiency, as well as skylights, thanks to which the light comfort is ensured in the house.
