V Prokopě Villahomes

The concept follows the form of the existing housing estate V Prokopě. With respect to the surrounding Elbeland nature, it offers comfortable living in a serene landscape with great connection to the capital city. The articulated mass, constructed from prefab timber panels, offers eight housing units of two kinds with spacious terraces all around. Both buildings enclose a shared communal garden, inspired by the principles of 'regen village' housing communities. A nursery space, placed on the most prominent corner, offers additional services to young families moving in. The buildings are fitted with many a technological solution of sustainable operation. Together with the building material, they aim to minimise their impact on the surrounding landscape and nature.
