First Steps

Our task was to design steps, a ladder or stepladder. I decided to design steps for children, currently popularized by the Montessori methodology under the name "learning tower". It is most often used near the kitchen counter, but the tower can also be used for the child's access to other elevated places. However, most learning towers on the market today are rather bulky and thus represent another piece of furniture that needs to be placed somewhere. I therefore decided to combine the function of a learning tower with a children's dining chair, which would be suitable for children of several age categories. The stairs can thus be used for longer and for multiple purposes.
