Kladno: Searching for the Post-industrial City

Kladno is an example of a city grappling with the transition to a post-industrial era. After a once-thriving industry, only a sort of vacuum remains today, occasionally interrupted by a functional storage hall. This vacuum needs to be filled, but not by bulldozing, leveling the terrain, and designing a superior city, but with respect, by absorbing the atmosphere and spirit of the place.
