COFFEE - LERKA

Tadeáš Kment

Annotation

The exhibition space highlights issues in the breeding and processing of pork and poultry. Located near a railway that annually transports around 100,000 pigs from Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark, it emphasizes the poor conditions animals endure, lacking space, food, light, and air. I aim to evoke these negative emotions in visitors and educate them on the impacts of industrialization on animals and the environment, as well as historical agricultural practices. The building's design is inspired by the Lobkowicz Castle facade and meat processing machines.
