sports complex Štrbské Pleso

Štrbské Pleso - part of the village of Štrba in the north of Slovakia is a well-known tourist spot a location offering sports and recreational activities. Lying at the foot of the High Tatras, it primarily offers opportunities for hiking, mountain climbing, skiing and snowboarding. The goal of this work was to verify the appropriateness of the design of the sports complex in this area and to propose its location with regard to public spaces and use. The proposal is based on the vision "Sport as the center of gravity of Štrbské Pleso", which assumes the creation of an active center in this part of the village. The center is designed in the northern part of Štrbské Pleso in connection with the existing sports facilities, routes and tourist attractions.
