Postoloprt monument

Within a few months after the end of World War II, more than 700 Germans from the entire region were killed in Postoloprty. The local barracks became the headquarters of the 1st Czechoslovak Division, which robbed, tortured and executed the interned population without trial. This violence was instigated by the mouths of institutional agents and subsequently denied and trivialized to become a social taboo. After more than 70 years since the mass murders, the fates of people do not remind much, rather the effort to forget is still evident.
