Náklo gravel-sand pit

This diploma thesis seminar analyzes the broader territory and vicinity of the Náklo gravel-sand pit, creating an initial analytical foundation for the diploma thesis. The Náklo gravel-sand pit is a still-mined and flooded water body that is a popular destination for swimming, water sports, fishing, and camping recreation. The area of the water body is approximately 110 hectares. The gravel pit is located approximately 15 km northwest of the city of Olomouc. The sand-gravel pit is adjacent to the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area.
